‘Mr. Bluebird' - Rob Winslow
Rob Winslow is always looking up. Born in 1961 he grew up with a deep love of the outdoors, with hunting, fishing and camping as his main pursuits. Nowadays, his passions are fishing, camping, and birding. He has recently retired from a full-time career to focus on two part time positions, as well as volunteering with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. Rob has also worked through the 40-hour program to become a Master Watershed Steward with Penn State Extension. Getting back to his college roots of Wildlife Management, he enjoys discussing environmental issues, native plants, and of course birding. Most recently, he volunteered to build and monitor 38 blue bird nest boxes. Rob and his wife Ellen (an avid birder herself, who loves photographing birds) live close by in Shrewsbury.
